Brow Lamination Aftercare: How to Make Results Last

The TARDIS Beauty Emporium ยท Beauty Guide

Brow lamination gives you that brushed-up, fuller look in about 45 minutes, but how long it holds depends a lot on what you do in the first 24 to 48 hours and the weeks after. Here's how to protect your results.

The first 24-48 hours matter most

The lamination solution is still setting your brow hairs into their new shape right after your appointment. Keep the brows completely dry for the first 24 hours, avoid steam, sweat, and swimming, and skip touching or brushing them during this window so the shape has time to hold.

Keep them conditioned

Laminated hair can dry out faster than untreated brow hair. A small amount of brow or castor oil brushed through every couple of days keeps the hairs soft and glossy instead of brittle, and helps the tint stay rich rather than fading dull.

Brush them daily, gently

Use a clean spoolie to brush your brows upward each morning. This keeps the brushed-up shape looking fresh and stops flat spots from forming as new hair grows in underneath the laminated layer.

Skip harsh products near the brows

Retinols, exfoliating acids, and oil-heavy makeup removers can break down the lamination faster. Cleanse gently around the brow area and save your stronger skincare actives for the rest of your face.

How long it actually lasts

If your brows are already dense but grow in different directions, lamination with tinting is usually all you need. Message us if you're not sure it's the right fit for your brow type.
